On 18th October 2004, I was in University of California, UC Irvine to study about Toyota's All-Battery Electric RAV4 test-bedding as their "end-stage". In fact, in 1997, since Toyota launched their Gen-1 Prius, they have always been doing R&D if ever EV was ready. The Research Project at UC Irvine was the testament of Toyota's commitment to concurrently watch for opportunity and the right time to bring Electric Motors and Battery Technology for mass market adoption. Toyota believed by adding Electric Motors and Battery Technology into existing ICE, the invention and innovation of high-efficiency Hybrid could be far beneficial and effective to reducing Carbon Dioxide emission, without subjecting to the chicken-n-egg situation, building recharging infrastructure. This is Sustaining Innovation approach, I hope bureaucrats could at least learn the Disruptive Innovation Theory based on late Professor Clayton Christensen's lifetime work reflected in Innovator's Dilemma in 1997. * Coincidentally, the same year Toyota introduced their 1st Prius. I have been across these 20-years, trying so hard to communicate my understanding of Toyota to Singapore's bureaucrats, as a Singapore-born Singaporean, perhaps they saw me as just another ordinary guy; always keeping in view of my comments as KIV. For 20-years, I would have probably nagged more than my 82-years young Mum to me. Finally, Singapore has received this news by Akio Toyoda-san, The World is not ready for EV just yet, "I told you so"; I was jumping for joy, eventually, I also have the chance to say, I told Singapore so too. As a Scientist Engineer Researcher, my role is to search for "answers" in the best possible way to communicate in Seeing What's Next for National Interest. I have failed tremendously as that role to keep bureaucrats informed of EV's pitfalls and when engaging it too early, Singaporeans will collectively bear the cost and "suffering" across our Nation. On this note, I will leave to our next-generation Singaporeans, don't be discouraged by my failure to being that Automotive Engineering and Technology Expert, that cannot make an impact to Singapore's interest. I am sure, you will find new energy, motivation, put passion into Discovery Science Forward Singapore FutureReady. I wish you best in your Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics STEM Education and longer-term Career Practice of 50-years and beyond. Good luck in finding ways to convince our bureaucrats as Singaporeans.

I am excited to share some academic highlights which were awarded a First from my final year at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. Both projects have given me the opportunity to focus on topics I am passionate about, particularly in the automotive and motorsport industry. My dissertation titled, ‘Racing for Responsibility: An Examination of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Irresponsibility of Formula One’ allowed me to explore the complexities of sustainability. I examined the CSR and CSI practices of Formula 1, focusing on how these actions impact not only the sport, but also its global audience and stakeholders. It was a fascinating study that highlighted the challenge of balancing the positive and negative actions of an organisation and the growing need for sustainable practices - both socially and environmentally - in an industry often criticised for its sustainability. I also had the opportunity to conduct a comprehensive marketing audit and report on Volvo Cars, where I assessed its current competitive position within the market and proposed a sustainable strategic option to further enhance its product offerings. This project was particularly insightful with its concentration on the environmental aspect of sustainability within the report, emphasising the importance of a holistic approach – from upstream to downstream of the supply chain – in driving meaningful change. Both projects emphasised the critical role of sustainability within today’s business landscape. I’ve gained a deep understanding of how crucial it is for companies, especially in industries like automotive and motorsport, to integrate sustainable practices across the entire supply chain, aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The knowledge I have gained has further fuelled my passion for these industries and for driving positive, continuous change within the modern business world. Big part of Galo projects and operations is related to Ford Motor Company, Cologne factory. Back in 2016, when company started with automation business, first important project was small laser station with 4 KUKA KRC4 robots at closure part of Ford, Cologne BIW - 5J "Heckklappe" for Fiesta model B479. Now, just 8 years later, we are in the final phase of the #biggest project Galo Industries ever had - Project CX740 in Ford Cologne EV Center. Over last 3 years Galo Industries was involved in #design, #development, #installation, #programming, #commissioning and #optimisation part of electrical vehicle production automation project. During the busiest phase of the project 45 technicians, engineers and consultants supported #CX740 project working under Galo Industries name and logo.
