Sept 18 (Reuters) - Ray Dalio and Lim Chow Kiat, from the world's largest hedge fund and Singapore's GIC, respectively, are adopting a cautious stance for the upcoming year. Dalio highlights the U.S.'s positives but also warns of risks around the transition of power. Meanwhile, Lim emphasizes the need for selective investments over broad market allocations, given current uncertainties. Lim reaffirms GIC's commitment to the U.S. market post-election, highlighting the abundant investment opportunities within the country's private sector. Additionally, he mentions GIC's continued investments in China, despite slow deal flows, citing the country's significant economic status and entrepreneurial potential as key factors driving their strategy. #Investing #GlobalMarkets #EconomicOutlook
