Rotary is good

A good day. Thankyou to everyone who worked so hard to bring about the change and the hope we so desperately need. Thankyou to everyone brave enough to stand as an MP and serve the British people in the interests of us all. An incredibly difficult job ahead for Labour. We all need and expect so much from them I hope we can give them time to settle in and take stock of the huge task ahead. Our country, our world, our people, our #economy, our #businesses, our #climate and our #wildlife need thoughtful, caring, forward thinking government with integrity to restore trust and set us on a path to regeneration and wellbeing. A huge step in the right direction has been taken. Despite the weather (and the really dark clouds of Reform) a day for celebration and determination to ensure that rays of hope outshine the legacy of 14 years of decay and the darkness of Farage and his politics of nastiness. As British people we are better than Reform, more generous and more resilient. A better fairer world for all is possible and that needs to start with listening to each other and understanding why so many people feel ignored and so have turned to Reform. We may quite rightly despise Farage - but simply dismissing as ignorant those who voted for his false promises just repeats the mistakes of history.
