UNEMPLOYED YOUTH STUDY FUNDING/EMPLOYMENT PLEA. PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR CONNECTIONS. MY STUDY FUNDING OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY MIGHT COME FROM YOUR SHARE. Good day, It is with humility and bend knee that I pen this humble plea for funding for my outstanding doctoral study fees. My name is Noble Eiaseb, a Doctor of Business Administration student at the University of Namibia-Namibia Business School. I am a Specialist Mining Engineering Graduate, and also hold a Professional Retraining Diploma in Mine and Underground Construction from the prestigious Moscow Mining Institute in the Russian Federation. Furthermore, I graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Regent Business School in South Africa. In addition, I also hold a Master of Commerce (full research) degree from Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) in South Africa. Upon completion of my studies in the Russian Federation and subsequent return, I was unable to secure employment in the mining sector. Some organizations simply discarded my applications as "HIGHLY QUALIFIED BUT TOO LITTLE EXPERIENCE". As is my nature, if something does not work out you must move as you are not a mountain stuck to its geographic location. I volunteered at various secondary schools and was able to put bread and butter on the table. I still never failed to apply to any and all jobs on all levels in all industries. However, the no experience curse has followed me around like a plaque. When I got a chance to save up enough funds, I immediately enrolled for my MBA and thereafter my MCom degrees as education is a great key to success. It is actually very sad that we as a nation bring in experts from the global village while our highly qualified and educated youth linger on the streets. Very sad indeed. We have highly skilled individuals who are unemployed, underemployed and/or are simply debased to beggars status. This is not the country their blood watered our freedom for, neither the country our ancestors fought tooth and nail for. Brain drain and an increase of African Diaspora is a direct result of this unfortunate phenomenon. I took a break from studies once my MBA and MCom were completed to search for funding to proceed with my doctoral studies. When I saved up enough for registration and a couple of months of tuition I took the plunge and enroll for my DBA at Namibia Business School. Needless to say, and from the attached academic records from my MBA, MCom and first semester of DBA one can glean that I have a passion for studying and continuous development. I am unemployed. The small funds I had saved up have dried up. I am at a precipice of either not being able to continue with my research or dropping out of my studies. It is with this humble plea that I come with bend knee to ask for funding to be able to settle my outstanding study fees. I can be contacted for any further information or EMPLOYMENT! Contact Lisa Matomola and ask her for help. She offers tailored services that can definitely assist in your job search and talent matching. Also, its not about being overqualified or inexperienced, its about how you market yourself, again, Lisa's services can help. For funding, check with all the embassies for scholarships, as well as UNAM for references to partnerships offering funding. Depending on what your research is, contact the ministry of education as well as the ministry of mining as they have a list of sponsors you can contact. again, it's how you market yourself: what value do you bring, what is the ROI essentially. The oil and gas as well as renewable energy industry is booming in Nam, so approach them directly ( esp their SED Departments) and ask for funding or employment opportunities. Lastly, do not overlook internships or even volunteering. If you have a good support system consider volunteering at a company in exchange for experience and a reference, and learn to network actively in person. Hope it helps.👍
