At #RealizeLIVE this week, I had the privilege of discussing how Siemens' robust ecosystem and our strategic partnerships are consistently delivering unparalleled value to our customers with speed. I'm thrilled to announce an expansion of our collaboration with Microsoft, aimed at integrating the cutting-edge Azure AI capabilities into the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio. Through this continued collaboration plus the latest advancements in AI and Copilot, we're building on the launch of the Teamcenter app on Microsoft Teams, which connects frontline factory and service teams to design and engineering teams through Siemens’ industry-leading Teamcenter software for PLM. To continue providing solutions for our customers' toughest problems today and in the future, Siemens is also developing a Copilot for Microsoft 365 plugin for the Siemens Teamcenter app on Teams, enabling workers across the entire product lifecycle and value chain to better track and prioritize their workloads. Today we're announcing an expansion of our partnership with Microsoft. What we're announcing is, is that together. We're gonna, we're gonna make sure that. Our AI capabilities will be coupled together with PLM and Azure. But we're going to start, the first thing I want to do is have accelerators of service. This is when we host. So remember, if if we host Team Center to you, we run it, we host it for you. We're not going to run on Azure as well. So we give our customers a choice. We've always run there in a virtual private cloud, these types of things. But now we're saying when we're hosting it, we're going to support it here as well in our environment. That's so important because now I can integrate a lot of what we do with the data. We have in Team Center manufacturing all these areas much more easily over to Microsoft AI. So what we're excited about in this partnership is this isn't us just running on Azure. Lots of people can do that. This is how we're working together to develop applications that we will bring forward. One of those we announced last year was a teams Team Center integration we're out delivering today. So again, it's very important for us. We're excited about this partnership we think could go a long way and we're really responding to what our customers asked us for. They're saying look, you need to support. Azure and where we're at and and we're happy to announce that today.

In most manufacturing facilities, about 70% of the issues arising on the factory floor go unreported. This occurs because there isn’t a streamlined method for line workers to promptly document and capture the issues they encounter. Robert Jones, executive vice president, global sales and customer success at Siemens Digital Industries Software believes there is a need for a more efficient process that allows for quick documentation, providing enough information for engineers to take effective action against specific issues. To solve this problem, Siemens turned to AI and partnered with Microsoft to integrate Microsoft Teams with its Teamcenter X, a cloud-based product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
