In Thailand, for example in the Bangkok Hospital in Udon Thani, this has already been implemented. Drop off your car at the parking elevator and the rest happens automatically. When you pick it up, you wait until your car comes down in the elevator, get in and everything is fine. Compared to other countries, the whole thing is free of charge. That's service.

If the Valets can pack the cars in a much denser organization, no need for place to open the door, they can stay close to each other, nor need the height of the parking place so big to fit humans. Ultimately, no need to paint the markers. How the cars are coming, depending on the sizes, will occupy the exact amount of space which makes sense. Moreover, cars can be parked blocking in the front or back. In the end, huge space saving can be achieved.

While the advancement in parking technology with robotic valets is undeniably impressive and offers unparalleled convenience and efficiency, it's important to consider the potential impact on entry-level jobs. Traditionally, parking lots and valet services have provided many young people with their first employment opportunities, allowing them to gain work experience and earn an income. With the introduction of robotic valets, these entry-level positions might diminish as automation takes over tasks previously done by humans. As we embrace this new era of technological innovation, it’s crucial to also think about how we can support and retrain those affected by these changes, ensuring they are not left behind in the workforce transition.

Forbid this product to be in use or on sale! This creates best possible way for vehicle criminals to steal from our parking lots! In matter of seconds your car can be gone from parking lot.

Nice innovation, but what if your vehicle is 3 deep on each side? What does the robot do then?

It's a very challenging robot project and it looks like they overcame a lot of the obvious challenges. I have some doubts, though. There are a million things that could go wrong with this. We still aren't at the point we can trust self-driving cars. I don't think I would trust a self-driving car...for my car.

Considering all the car parks I've used over the decades, the only benefit I see here is commerce, resource consumption and helping people who can't park their cars. I suggest people who can't park shouldn't be on the road and shouldn't we be #SavingThePlanet
