Check out some of our lessons learned below. ⏰ Time: The culture and process shift does not happen overnight, and leaders must prepare for the roller coaster ride that enables them to leverage data as an asset. 💰 Money & Tech 🧑💻: Leaders must be willing to invest in the organization's data journey as the potential ROI could be a game-changer. Hiring new team members and investing in technology tools and trainings to garner adoption will support its success, as well as everyone along for the ride. 🎤 Talent: A shift in data strategy opens the door for new roles, talent, and technologists to support data initiatives and foster a data-driven culture. Current employees should also be given adequate resources to upskill to evolve alongside their responsibilities to become more reliant on data in decision-making and task execution. 📊 Data Governance: How data is maintained and stays in compliance continues to evolve to meet the needs of enterprises while practicing responsible governance. Data leaders must facilitate collaborative governance practices and policies between stewards and end-users to balance sound data governance and increased visibility across the enterprise. Striking this balance upholds data integrity and security while making it actionable to drive value.
