GESAMTKUNSTWERK:-Transforming the Abandoned The aim of the project is to transform an abandoned building into an articulated architectural statement. In this project, I've envisioned an art therapy center that seamlessly blends chaos and calm within its architectural design. It begins with a reimagining of the existing building's hierarchy, utilizing it as the canvas for creative reinterpretation. A fundamental aspect of the design philosophy includes the integration of fluid, organic forms.

The proposed architectural intervention resolves around finding a mutual harmony between all elements whilst envisioning a state-of-the-art aesthetic that can primarily promote the integration of the sea eco-design.

Some of the most dangerous phrases in architecture and design are "This is the way we've always done it", "We like what we have" or "We're not interested" or "We're too busy for this". You could argue that 12th Century Gothic architecture was some of the most beautiful in history, but what if the Sydney Opera House was never built, or the Empire State Building, or the Burj-Al-Arab, or The Shard. Imagine where modern architecture would be without the individuals that made those buildings a reality. Innovation requires change, and the willingness to change inspires creativity in process improvement, so why not start now?
