According to a recent report by Wood Mackenzie and the Solar Energy Industries Association, solar power constituted 75% of the electricity generation capacity added to the U.S. power grid in early 2024. All weather gravel or stone base roads often require massive trucking costs to bring the material to rural solar sites, not to mention the environmental impact of the trucking!
