Team - itโs starting!ย ย ๐ฅ Iโm seeing more and more posts for organization hiring recruiters, or even just announcing plans to add to TA headcount in 2024. And I couldnโt be more excited for all theย #opentoworkย recruiters in my network!! However, if you are currently hiring, or soon expecting to hire - letโs hit pause for a moment.ย ย โธ There are a couple things to consider: 1๏ธโฃย There have been ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐ advancements in technology surrounding recruitment and sourcing.* ๐ IF you were able to maintain a TA department over the past 12 months, have they had the bandwidth to stay abreast of these changes? ๐ And/or implement changes that leverage these tools? 2๏ธโฃย As a follow up to above point: AI and automation ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐น๐ฑ impact the composition of your team and their responsibilities.** ๐๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ด๐ฆ - ๐ฅ๐ฐ ๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ด ๐ข๐ด โ๐๐ ๐ธ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ข๐ค๐ฆ ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ณ๐ถ๐ช๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ดโ.ย ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐. What are some of the key points as a job seeker do you prefer a recruiter share up front in a message? Curious as an agency recruiter to see how I can improve prospect/candidate experiences. Is it: - Salary - Work Model (on-site, hybrid, remote) - Hiring Method (contract, contract to hire, direct hire) - Job Responsibilities - Any additional info (feel free to input) Would you prefer a longer message with more details or something short and highlight 1 of these things offering to chat about more details? UNKNOWN is looking to hire three senior recruiters. But weโre in that lucky position to not be in a rush. (For now ๐) When I set up unknown, I never wanted to build a behemoth โrocket shipโ, recruitment business that chased after revenue and regions. I wanted to build a business of recruiters that were healthy, happy, high earning and, by their very nature, high performing. It was my belief in the early days that if we committed to being โhyper nicheโ and focused on very specific creative markets, then it will become our defining competitive advantage. And it really has. Weโve got a lot right and weโve got a lot wrong. But what Iโm (loudly) proud of is establishing a culture of passionate, accountable, kind, hard working humans that serve their industry as if they were doing the jobs they hire for. Since being majorly London and Europe focused, we listened to what our talent wanted and began to focus our attention on the US. Now, weโve reached a point that we need to commit resource to that growth. So, weโre really excited about these next Unknownians. Game plan is the following ๐คฉ: Weโre incubating them within our โhyper nicheโ teams so they can truly understand how we get things done around here. Then, and itโs totally up to them, they can be part of our founding team in the States. (Or you can stay here. Itโs your call) I want to hear from anyone thatโs either got experience in the creative recruitment markets, or someone that is passionate about learning them. The non negotiable for us is that you share our values, which in five words are: Courage. Compassion. Curiosity. Accountability. Grit.
