Proposte set for another Villa Erba stay Fabric exhibition Proposte is set to remain at its traditional home of Villa Erba, despite efforts to quell companies exhibiting outwith the show. ‘Proposte will remain at Villa Erba in 2025, adhering to the existing lease agreement. The 32nd edition will take place on May 6- 8,’ says Alessandro Tessuto, Propsoste president. However, he warned that the show was again looking at how to kerb piggybacking of the event by companies showing in Cernobbio but not part of the exhibition. ‘In the meantime, we are collaborating with the exhibition centre management, the Municipality of Cernobbio, and Confindustria Como on a project to regulate participation from companies outside the exhibition.’ The 31st edition of Proposte started with a ‘significant turnout on the opening day’ of 6 May, before ‘a calmer atmosphere’ on the following two days. The furnishing, curtain, trimmings, and wallcovering fabrics show saw a 4% increase in visitors, with non-Italian visitors from 70 countries making up 70% of attendees. There was ‘stability’ in attendance from Germany and the UK, a slight increase from the US and France, and after years of stability, an increase in Italian buyers. The Lake Como exhibition’s special areas in Ala Lario, including Cometa Formazione, Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp, and Fashion Room, garnered considerable interest. Ala Cernobbio also featured four startups: CDC_Studio, Flocus, Fili Pari, and Ympact, all promoting innovative ideas for new materials and textile upcycling. ‘ComoCrea Interni gives positive feedback; the 23 designers are satisfied with the new contacts established and look forward to continuing their synergy with Proposte.’ https://lnkd.in/emWsSx_g #flooring #flooringshow #flooringindustry

In the complex pressure of contemporary society, young people are facing subtle identity dilemmas, and their individual image sways between social expectations and self expectations, presenting a weakened state. In this context, the pursuit of happiness factors has resurfaced like a tide on them. Behind this seemingly self indulgent surface phenomenon lies their pursuit of immediate sensory pleasure in life, as well as their deep exploration of the meaning of life. They take themselves as the starting point and attempt to move from inexperienced beginners to mature masters, constructing an ideal persona through internet celebrity plants, heart flow handicrafts, and dopamine colors. Hooked is a lifestyle of willingly jumping into a small circle of interests and obtaining a limited number of people. The joy of entering a pit is slowly becoming addicted and unable to stop. EDITION FULL OF VITALITY AND CONTENT FOR LINEAPELLE 103 25,376 TRADE OPERATORS FOR AN EXHIBITION GROWING COMPARED TO THE TWO PREVIOUS EDITIONS Despite the complex economic situation, LINEAPELLE 103, held at Fiera Milano Rho from 20 to 22 February 2024, celebrates the conclusion of a particularly vital edition that opens up glimmers of confidence for the leather, luxury, and design supply chain. Twenty-five thousand three hundred seventy-six sector operators (up on the February and September 2023 editions) animated with their interest and search for novelty the stands of the 1,167 exhibitors at LINEAPELLE who showcased collections and projects (reference season: Spring-Summer 2025) characterised by strong innovative research and a clear propensity for diversification of markets, proposals, and destinations. The influx of foreign operators was significant (39% of the total), with a prevalence of buyers from France, Spain, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, the United States, and China. The vitality of LINEAPELLE 103 and its ability to open up new horizons even in a particularly worrying market moment, found expression and (great) interest in all the contents that enriched the exhibition experience, starting with the success of the six Lineapelle Designers Edition fashion shows. Very positive feedback also for the first edition of Lineapelle Interiors / Leather Duets, a business culture exhibition that staged a sequence of installations, each of which was represented by an exclusive leather design project shared between a made-in-Italy leather manufacturer and a furniture company.
