🆘 The tech industry's hiring spree during the pandemic, driven by inflated projections and unsustainable growth expectations led to massive layoffs in 2023, with more than 262,000 workers worldwide losing their jobs. 😵 This reckless hiring spree, driven by hype and unrealistic promises, led to widespread layoffs and disillusionment. 👀 👇 Here are some of the the mindblowing consequences: 🚩 Companies poured money into risky expansions and unproven ventures, creating fragile business models. 🚩 Spending on perks like nap pods and gourmet meals drained resources from essential operations. 🚩 Perks like on-site massages became symbols of waste, with no real boost in productivity. 🚩 Instead of focusing on sustainable goals, companies chased inflated valuations, leading to eventual collapse.
