On this 67th European anniversary, we like to highlight a series of meaningful design objects that were enabled by research, creative thinking and industrial development. RIESS’ roots go back to 1550. when the original pan forge was founded in Ybbsitz, Austria. In 1922 the company started manufacturing high-quality porcelain enamel kitchenware. Today, Julian, Friedrich and Susanne Riess, 9th generation of the family, are at the helm of the company. In general, enamel cookware can be used for all stove types (except the microwave) and is perfectly suited for induction stoves due to the magnetisable iron core. The RIESS AROMAPOTS can be used at high temperatures in the oven and on gas, electric, halogen and ceramic hobs. Their magnetic properties make them ideal for modern induction hobs! It is our longevity, stability, trust, networks, innovation and teamwork that has ensured the success of our company. We have been really happy because there has been a chance to develop new technical solutions for different stone applications basicly every year. Step by step the solutions are more difficult and really need the cooperation of the whole team. By inventing these solutions we have exceeded the "limit" what was settled to the stone applications made of slabs. Today we can make all kind of massive curves with fitted pattern at the same time saving precious raw material. The world is moving step by step to more sustainable so we have to take care of the environment and to work out even more next level solutions to save natural resource and to build quality solutions what mean a lot to the customer.
