Lohith says that he "finally" gathered the courage to post about his new position at DataWars.
But let me tell you more about how we met, and you'll see how courageous he's been, and how important is to push for what you love.
I first became acquainted with Lohith in our nascent DataWars' Discord Server. At the beginning, it was me answering most of the questions from users, but one day this guy came with a weird Ironman profile picture helping other users in a random server. We didn't know each other, we didn't pay him, anything. He just saw a question and helped. First show of courage.
A few weeks in, after answering questions here and there, he started asking his own questions. But they were nothing like simple Python/Pandas questions, he was asking about the mathematical derivation of the Bias–variance tradeoff 😳.
He was taking a course about Machine Learning, and he was digging even deeper by his own means into topics that were not covered. Second show of courage.
A few months ago, he randomly emailed me with an idea of building a project for DataWars. We didn't post a search or anything like that. He initiated the contact. We obviously were extremely happy to count with him in our team. Third show of courage.
Lohith is a great example of how working hard and pushing for what you like will do for you. I have gotten several important deals in my life by just cold-emailing someone and being honest about how we could collaborate. Worst thing that can happen? They don't reply.
So keep pushing, keep asking for what you want, and keep building connections. I hope Lohith's courage serves as a motivator.
Better late than never, right? This introvert finally gathered the courage to step out of the shadows and announce...

Today marks 2✌ years at Crumbl for me! 🎉 We joke that 2 years at Crumbl is like 10 years anywhere else, and I can definitely say it feels like I've had a decade's worth of growing and learning since my first day.
The day I started at Crumbl, news of our litigation for trademark infringement broke and the "Cookie Wars" started (remember that?) and there has not been a slow day since! There's been highs and lows in every sense of the word: in sales, KPIs, morale, number of desserts eaten, etc, and not a day goes by that I don't count this job as one of my many blessings.
My favorite part? I get to work with INCREDIBLE humans every single day. Not only super talented and smart people, but genuinely GOOD people, who make me laugh and smile and who make me feel cared for. It's also so FUN to work at a company with such a loyal following, knowing that the work we do each day gets viewed and reacted to by millions of people every week.
TL;DR: I love my job and don't take the opportunity to be doing what I do lightly. And we're only getting started!

I've always found Instagram a bit puzzling, but in my social media journey, three of my posts unexpectedly gained viral traction:
1. A reflection on understanding military family sacrifice during deployment.
2. A peek into my race car project, where we shattered expectations by achieving over 1000whp – surprising even performance shops in Japan.
3. A video showcasing the genuine Sakura beverage in Dallas, highlighting the effort behind crafting authentic flavors compared to the common use of syrups and artificial ingredients.
It's like the difference between master sushi chefs creating culinary art vs quick profit-driven alternatives posing as sushi. It looks the same but the taste is questionable.
Enjoy!
PS
Is this something I can put on my resume if I ever go back to the job market?
