Building Kortex, a second brain for writers and creators.

Start. And if you struggle to just sit down and do the work, it may help to turn your life into a video game (so you can get addicted to progress). Part 1/3 of the deep synthesis on The Flow State just went live. Link in the comments.

Very well said. One thing which is required to achieve what you want is to START. Should avoid perfectionism because that delays in achieving your goals in my opinion.

Lol. Yep, I fall into this category. I think when we are aware of this and we design our routines to help us get started we are so much more likely to be successful.

There's too much drama and overthinking we attribute to starting... Over the weekend I wanted to do a task. And I just kept pushing and pushing it forward. Until I just made up my mind to do it. Ready or not? And in minutes I was done. Starting is the hardest part. But when you start it becomes much .ore easier. Thank you for sharing Dan

When I’m struggling, I give myself the goal of just sitting for 5 mins. Usually that’s enough to get me hooked
