𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐧 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥 “The government has crowed long and loud about banning “assault-style” or “military-style” rifles. The process of actually defining to which guns those labels apply has proven messy, to say the least. C-21 proposes to address this promise by banning the import and sale of some long guns, under very specific criteria. Most importantly, the ban would only apply to guns designed and manufactured after the passage of the bill. So-called “assault-style” guns that are already in circulation would not fall under the ban proposed here, though 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (a) has already banned a collection of long guns it says fit that description via an Order in Council, and—this part is important—(b) 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐚𝐧. The ban in C-21, however, would only apply to long guns of the future, so to speak, that use centrefire ammunition and are “originally designed” to accept a magazine that holds more than the five bullets allowed under current Canadian law. Centrefire ammunition has a thicker, stronger casing and is therefore used in more powerful long guns. As for that second bit—no long guns designed to accept big magazines—that could be more impactful than it may seem. Most of the guns sold in Canada are manufactured elsewhere, often the United States, said Tracey Wilson, an executive with the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights. Those exporters don’t—and Wilson thinks, won’t—design guns or magazines to meet the Canadian five-round requirement. “We would basically never get any new guns,” she said. With successful challenges to lifetime bans on firearm possession in multiple federal courts, this question of who can be barred has come up on both sides of the discussion. Fortunately, the Bill of Rights already has the answer.

But in case there was any doubt, new gun export regulations published late last month by the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security make the administration’s position painfully clear: It doesn’t think ordinary civilians can be trusted with firearms. The interim final rule on gun exports, published April 30, significantly alters licensing policies for U.S. companies seeking to lawfully export guns and ammunition to civilian markets in other countries. And although it doesn’t necessarily affect American gun owners, it does show the Biden administration’s true colors on the natural right of self-defense—but projected into the international arena...." What is not absolute is the Governor’s power which she has overstepped into the area of impeachable offenses which may well remove her. Perhaps she needs to read her own State’s Constitution as well as the US Consotutions. She does not comprehend the phrase… SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. Her subjectivism and will to power has betrayed her. infringe verb 1 the takeover bid infringed competition rules: CONTRAVENE, violate, transgress, break, breach, commit a breach of, disobey, defy, flout, fly in the face of, ride roughshod over, kick against; fail to comply with, fail to observe, disregard, take no notice of, ignore, neglect; go beyond, overstep, exceed; 2 such widespread surveillance could infringe personal liberties: UNDERMINE, erode, diminish, weaken, impair, damage, compromise; limit, curb, check, place a limit on, encroach on, interfere with, disturb, disrupt. 3 she or he shall be restrained from ever infringing your constitutional rights: TRESPASS ON, encroach on, impinge on, intrude on, enter, invade; barge in on, burst in on; archaic entrench on. She is in fact in violation of state and federal law. She has infringed upon both. By doing so she has opened Pandora’s box undermining the totality of all the laws of the state. At the very least she should be impeached. She also undermined her own authority with is also predicated upon the laws of the state and the nation. That is actually a jailable offense. If all laws are subjective so too are those which she arbitrarily have ignored and those which she hasn’t. Likewise it is a violation of her oath of office. Such foresight is especially prudent in cases like this one. Indeed, while this case may seem focused on firearms, it represents so much more. It is emblematic of a devastating problem that increasingly rears its head in federal courts: rampant evasion of the democratic process. Few issues more acutely underscore this problem than the present case. The ATF and the anti-gun lobby want you NOT to be politically active! It's a key part of their strategy. If voters can be persuaded that noncompliance is the only way to combat a tyrannical government and that there's no use fighting for your rights within the system, the government can then legislate your rights away as they please and simply play the waiting game to catch those practicing noncompliance. #gunrights #takeaction #secondamendment
