Why I got into pharmacy? I’ll tell you the absolute truth, like many other South Asians, I was kinda forced into it, just to please my parents! Why am I still doing it? Realised I’m pretty good at this! For me it’s not so much about the individual patient’s care, it’s about enhancing patient care overall.

Failed to get into medicine at uni twice. Pharmacy was back up.

6moI got into it as I wanted to help people and at the time there was a shortage of pharmacists and too many doctors, so I did pharmacy to be of more use. I also wanted to be a teacher. I love my current practice as I get to do both. I teach intern pharmacist's and help people. I love my job, I love the team I work in and it is a great career.
