Ahead of the General Election on the 4th of July, it is crucial that the needs of babies, children and young people are prioritised. They deserve safer, happier and healthier childhoods and more equal access to opportunities.    All political leaders must now use their manifestos to set out plans to tackle child poverty, provide more support for young people’s mental health and wellbeing, and invest in children’s social care.    We have a crucial opportunity to put children's concerns and experiences at the centre of decision making – to bring children to the table. We look forward to working with political parties as they harness this opportunity.    We also call on party leaders to take the ground-breaking step of participating in a televised debate focussed on children and young people. What better way to show that they value children and young people than to include them in these key conversations?   Let's have Children at the Table in transforming their lives.
