She loves its inherent unsolicited nature and considers it to be one of the most valuable resources to support her clients to make well informed decisions. Jessica’s social listening journey began while working for social intelligence platform Brandwatch. It was here she discovered the potential of social listening and the positive effect it can have on business decisions. This spurred Jessica on to start up her own business. ⭐SI Insider 50 Winner’s Story⭐ One of the things we love most about Social Listeners is our resilience. Working in a new and misunderstood industry leads you to a lot of workarounds and innovative problem-solving solutions. This applies in bucketfuls to our #SIInsider50 #InsightfulInnovator winner, Kayte Hamilton. She kept looking for a tool or company to come along and leverage the IG Stories Stickers but when none did, she built her own app! As the Founder of The Social Question, Kayte runs the social media research agency, collaborating with creators to offer research opportunities to their followers. There is powerful conversations happening in Instagram stories and she helps them to tap into this. As someone who always focuses on working collaboratively, Kayte hopes to see more and more collaboration across the industry as it evolves over the next few years. “We risk being too fragmented and staying in our lanes too much when there’s plenty of space to build together.” We asked Kayte if she has any SI heroes and she named none other than, SI Lab community familiar face, Frank Gregory! “Frank and I have a shared background in advertising and actually went to the same grad program years apart (VCU Brandcenter).
