💰 When it comes to mental health services, the decision to display pricing upfront can be complex. While transparency is crucial in fostering trust, revealing prices on advertisements or websites might inadvertently lead to confusion or hesitation among potential clients. Instead, consider adopting a more nuanced approach. 🤔 By withholding pricing information until clients engage with your services or after they have experienced the value you provide, you can create a more personalized and supportive environment. 🌱 This approach allows clients to focus on their needs and the quality of care rather than solely on cost, fostering a stronger sense of trust and connection between mental health professionals and those seeking support. meet with us 💻 today and let us help you fill your calendar with patients 💎 : www.psyconsulting.me 🌐 [email protected] ✉️

In social work – and the mental health care field as a whole – we must begin to recognize how so many of the traditional tools, techniques and teachings have not sufficiently accounted for, or have completely overlooked, the lived experiences and histories of marginalized and underrepresented communities. The more of an effort our profession makes to understand these communities, the more efficacious our work will be with those communities.

When challenging behaviors arise, it's easy to chalk it up solely to the condition. But here's the truth... Behind those behaviours may hide unspoken traumas, anxieties, or mental health concerns that deserve to be explored and addressed. As we commemorate Children's Mental Health Week in the UK this second week of February, let's pledge to look beyond and deep within. 🧠🔍 Let's be mental health allies, raising awareness about the importance of children’s mental health and well-being, and most importantly, recognising the possibility of underlying issues and guiding them toward the support they deserve. Understanding goes beyond what meets the eye. Here's to creating a world where their voices are heard, and their mental health matters. 💛 Double tap and share to spread the message! 💡 Our Thrive Family Membership values mental health in both you and your child. Get access to journal prompts, relaxing audio, family activity guides and more. All made to ensure you and your child/ren thrive. Today marks the international Time to Talk Day, an initiative that promotes mental health conversations between people. When engaging for this great cause and to maximise effectiveness it is worth noting that studies have established that men are more likely to experience emotional closeness when talking side-by-side, whereas women prefer talking face-to-face. Men tend to be more vocal in public forums, and women tend to remain engaged even during online sessions. Both men and women respond better when engaging with a close friend. Our behaviour is driven by our needs. The people who are amazing listeners are the ones who need to be heard, the ones who always care about others are the ones who need help, the ones who shield their teams are the ones who need protection. We all know who they are in our lives, reach out for them as they do for you…
