😀!!Yadsendew yppah !!YAD DRAWKCAB LANOITAN 🤪 .yad doog a si sihT January 31st honors everything backward with National Backward Day. The day provides an opportunity to reverse our ways, our direction or simply our shirt. Dessert 🍰for breakfast, perhaps? There are many ways to celebrate this fun day, so just let your imagination be your guide. #NationalBackwardDay This day is very popular with school-aged kids👧, but there is no age limit on who can participate in all of the backward fun. So EVERYONE, let’s have some fun!! 🤩 FUN FACT: Leonardo da Vinci wrote backward. Not only did the artist and inventor write from right to left, but he also wrote his letters backward. Turth be told....perhaps he was dyslexic in an age when no one understood dyslexia? HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL BACKWARD DAY: 🚪Go out the back door. 🥩Have dinner for breakfast and breakfast 🍳for dinner! ( One of my favorites!) 🙂Instead of coming unglued when you're upset, get glued. ☕Add coffee to your milk. (Which reminds me of kinder coffee.) 🍨Add ice cream to your chocolate. (WHY, ruin my chocolate?) 👀Do your work in reverse order. (Obviously, this cannot apply to most situations.) 🫤Say, "Goodbye," instead of "Hello," when answering the phone. 🤙Twiddle your pinkies, not your thumbs. 👔Wear your shirt backward. ( note: you may have to have your wife button it!?)😆 📖Explore backward language by reading 5 Backward Ways to Use Words. 😀Do things backward and use #NationalBackwardDay to post on social media. Can you think of other ways to 'etarbelec" this day?? !erahs esaelP #naplumbingllc #northamericanplumbing #masterplumber #repairs #toilets #sinks #showers #bathtubs #kitchens #bathrooms #pipes #disposals #sinkerator #quality #meridianville #toney #hamptoncove #madison #huntsville #hazelgreen

July Fourth is a fantastic celebration for kids to learn about and enjoy! Here are FOUR ideas to make this Independence Day extra special: 𝟏. 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐲 ✂️ Make flags, stars, or hats using craft materials. Decorating bikes, wagons, or scooters for a neighborhood parade adds to the fun. 𝟐. 𝐆𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 🎊 Check local events for parades, concerts, or fairs happening nearby. Or, for a fun alternative, have a patriotic picnic or barbecue with family and friends. Organize traditional games like sack races, tug-of-war, or a water balloon toss. 𝟑. 𝐄𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 🍰 Bake cookies with flag designs, or make fruit skewers with strawberries🍓, blueberries 🫐, and marshmallows in patriotic colors. 𝟒. 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 📖 Find age-appropriate books about American history or stories that celebrate the values of freedom and independence. Teach kids about why July Fourth is important. Explain the Declaration of Independence in kid-friendly terms, emphasizing freedom and liberty🗽 #FourthOfJuly #KidsCantWait #IndependenceDay

Child-initiated play is one of our most important training modules for our team. Supporting our children to problem solve and to emotionally regulate through play is vital in developing their early learning experiences and creating confident young learners. Whilst holiday camps and wraparound care are places that the children come for fun and games after their long days/terms of lessons, it is still our responsibility as Early Years Educators to provide some learning based experiences and development opportunities for our children. We love to do this in a way that isn’t seen as ‘learning’ by the children and encourages them to develop themselves. Items we covered in our most recent training to support our children in our settings: - Open-ended activities - intentional questioning - intentional atmospheres - various accesible resources What do you do to support children’s self-development? We would love to hear your ideas and techniques 👏🏼
We believe in the transformative potential of child-initiated play. By letting children take the lead in their play experiences, we cultivate their natural curiosity, creativity, and confidence.👇 Here's more great info on CIP: https://lnkd.in/exgWBPSW https://lnkd.in/ePaZCgbn

SABBATH Building Upon the Rock In one of our year-end activities, I played the song “The Wise Man Built His House Upon the Rock” as a message to our grade school pupils. I told them that now was the time for building, that they did not have to wait for junior high school, senior high school, or college. If they excelled in those times, it would be because they had learned well today. I told the young pupils that their life would be built upon what they had learned in these tender years. We start building when we are young. In 1986, a book titled All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum became popular. Among the things he wrote in the book were: “Share everything. Play fair. Don’t hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don’t take things that aren’t yours. Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together. Be aware of wonder. Goldfish and hamster and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup—they all die. So do we. And then remember . . . the biggest word of all—look.” To all these, I added another word: pray. In the future, when they are already adults, this is one of the things they will go back to over and over again: when they recited their prayers before they went to bed, when they prayed at school assembly, when they visited the Lord in the church. These faith experiences will make them stronger. They will be like the wise man who built his house upon the rock. Fr. Joel Camaya, SDB Reflection Questions: What are you doing to build your life on solid rock? How do you strengthen your faith? Lord, let me listen to Your words and act on them. Amen. Today, I pray for: ____________________________________
