Today, we The PRactice were privileged to be part of the launch of the #Sci560 science exhibition season by Science Gallery Bengaluru (SGB) in Bengaluru, supported by Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies (RNP). The Sci560 exhibition season spanning 4 months (August-December 2024) with collaborative efforts of 10 leading institutions and SGB was inaugurated by the Minister for Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka. The inauguration was attended by eminent personalities including Rohini Nilekani, Chairperson of Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies, Jahnavi Phalkey; Founding Director of Science Gallery Bengaluru; Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon; Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Dr. Ekroop Caur, Secretary, Electronics, IT & BT, Govt of Karnataka and NS Boseraju, Minister for Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka. The exhibition season showcases Bengaluru's rich history in science through 10+ science and tech-based institutions. The Bengaluru city should be an inspiration for other cities in our country to build world class and cutting-edge science and tech research institutions and play a key role in nation building and help achieve our dream of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
