🌊 The challenges faced by fishermen like David Shoshola highlight the pressing issues of #ClimateChange and economic hardship in coastal communities. With rising ocean temperatures and difficult seafood trade practices, many fishers struggle to make ends meet. Middlemen buy fish directly from boats for next to nothing — some 5.8 million fishers in the world earn less than $1 per day — and sell at a significant markup.   That’s why we are proud to support innovations like the Abalobi app, which empowers small-scale fishers by improving market access and promoting #Sustainable practices.
