Recently, Marino partnered with Ascent Developer Solutions to launch its new private lending platform geared toward customized financing solutions to top-tier single- and multi-family developers. The team led the strategic buildout of AscentDS's website and social media channels in alignment with the launch, which garnered press in top-tier outlets and trade publications, beginning with exclusive media coverage in Bloomberg. Marino's Claire Bach and Sofia Braunstein from the firm's Real Estate & Property Innovation team joined client Skanska at Untapped Cities Insiders' tour of the new East Midtown Greenway, a Skanska project awarded by NYCEDC. Led by Skanska's Marcelo Braga, P.E. and Robert Reid along with Stantec's Nicole Ogrosso, P.E. the team explored its innovative climate-resilient design. This project represents a pinnacle of innovation, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance resilience and sustainability. GPS tracking monitored construction barge locations in real-time for safety within designated geo-zones. Timelapse cameras and underwater drones equipped with cameras and sensors were used to document progress, monitor the site environment, and inspect submerged structures for defects and erosion, further bolstering safety and project longevity. This 9/11, we remember the lives lost and the brave first responders who ran toward danger with unwavering courage. Marino is honored to work with HEART 9/11, a nonprofit made up of a team of emergency responders from the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD and NYC Building Trades who bonded in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. The organization now builds resiliency and provides hope for individuals, families and communities that have been affected by natural and man-made disasters.
