Meaning of Administrative Law According to Dicey in England, we know nothing of administrative law and we wish to know nothing about it. It means the most significant and outstanding dealing of administrative law maintains how the powers are exercised and the remedies are available to the aggravated persons. It is necessary particularly for the welfare of the state and many schemes for the progress of society are prepared and administered by the Government. The execution and implementation of this program may adversely affect the rights of citizens. The actual problem is to recognize social welfare with the rights of individual subjects. Administrative law is the branch of public law. It is always difficult to define. The reason seems to be that in almost every country irrespective of its political philosophy, the administrative process has increased so tremendously that we are not living not in its shade but shadow. Therefore it is impossible to attempt any precise definition of administrative law that can cover the entire range of administrative processes. Administrative law is made up of all these legal rules either formally expressed by statutes or implied in the prerogative which have as their ultimate object the fulfillment of public law.   

Another one done and back on the shelf. Bastiat's "The Law" is a critical read for those looking to understand the basic foundation of what the role of government in a free society should be. It's a short, easy read, during which Bastiat explores how the law is often abused to pursue plunder of one group on behalf of another - and how the plundered will organize to create legal plunder of their own plunderers. As a result, Bastiat argues that the law should be as limited as possible, only seeking to protect the property rights of individuals, eschewing any laws that increase its scope beyond that - including social welfare, jobs programs, or any kind of service that goes outside of basic justice.

Public service, which is one of the important foundations of administrative law and is in the interests of public interest by the government. Due to developments in the role of the government over time, including the welfare state and the minimality of this theory, has undergone changes. Competition law is one of the important principles of public economic law, which is a set of rules and regulations aimed at maintaining and facilitating competition in the market and counteracting the emergence of anti-competitive practices. Considering that taking into account the general interest, competition law will regulate healthy competition among the actors in the field of production and distribution, and economic efficiency, and ultimately improving public services and ultimately public welfare.

Happy to share that my latest article on welfare fraud enforcement and relational legal consciousness has just been published (open access) in the Law & Society Review. https://lnkd.in/e_iZ4s6y With a growing number of strict obligations and harsh sanctions for welfare recipients, the Netherlands has increasingly become a punitive welfare state. This article looks at what this means for welfare clients and their commonsense understandings of the law. To analyze how welfare officials shape clients' legal consciousness, I draw on an online survey among Dutch welfare clients (N = 1305) and a correlation analysis. The findings show that there is a clear relationship between welfare clients' own legal consciousness and their assessment of welfare officials' beliefs about the law. However, not all elements of their legal consciousness are relationally influenced by the same factors. Also, clients' self-reported compliance behavior is less relationally influenced than other elements of their legal consciousness. This study adds to our understanding of the mechanisms that constitute the production of relational and second-order legal consciousness and it contributes to the development of new research methods to study people's perceptions of law.

In the context of the Court of Protection, a deputyship refers to the appointment of a deputy to make decisions on behalf of someone who lacks the mental capacity to make those decisions themselves. There are two types of deputyship orders: 🤝 Property and Financial Affairs Deputyship: This type of deputy is appointed to make decisions about the person's financial and property matters. 🤝 Health and Welfare Deputyship: This type of deputy is appointed to make decisions about the person's personal welfare, including medical treatment and living arrangements. The process of applying for a deputyship involves submitting an application to the Court of Protection, providing evidence about the person's lack of capacity, and detailing why a deputyship is necessary. The court will then decide whether to grant the deputyship and, if so, the scope of the deputy's authority.
