"Yes Chef" 👨🏼🍳 I worked at East Side Marios when I was 17 years old. Let's just say my dreams of becoming a master chef were quickly extinguished by the reality of endless pasta bowls and the pressure of the "dinner rush." I lasted one whole week. But the release of The Bear Season 3 (paid sponsorship) reminded me of the importance of passion, teamwork, and resilience because even that week at East Side Marios taught me some valuable lessons that still resonate today... from a marketing perspective, of course. 👨🏽🤝👨🏿 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work Collaboration is key in any kitchen, and the same goes for marketing. Watching "Carmy" and "Sydney" on The Bear work together under pressure reminded me that when it comes to marketing, success hinges on seamless teamwork from the CEO to sales to customer success. They all need to pull their weight for the whole marketing operation to succeed. ⛽️ Passion Fuels Success Chefs are dedicated, and they love their craft. This reminds me to reflect on my passion for marketing. It's all about staying connected to what you love for long-term fulfillment and success. 💪🏽 Creativity Under Pressure Like at a restaurant, marketing often requires quick thinking and creative problem-solving under pressure. My stint at East Side taught me to stay calm and innovative when the heat is on, which are skills invaluable in the fast-paced environment of the marketing world. 📖 Storytelling Brings People Together In "The Bear" it's clear that every dish has some story behind it. In marketing, every brand and campaign should tell a story that resonates with the audience, creating a deeper connection. So, next time you're feeling overwhelmed or questioning your career path, remember to find your passion, lean on your peers, and always keep a sense of humour handy 😁 #TheBear #MarketingLife #Teamwork #Passion #Resilience #Creativity #Storytelling #CareerLessons #FunnyStories

EVP Customer Experiences | Product Development, Global Logistics, Data Science, Sustainability, Marketing, VIP Events, Social Media Marketing, Tiered Gifting & Continuity,
Aloha Weekend! 🌺 Every day, I share a special message with my grandchildren, reminding them to make good choices and be the leaders, not the bullies. This philosophy has guided me throughout my career, from my time at MGM and Caesars to my current role as a Partner in marketing and player development. During my tenure with MGM and Caesars I would ask my team members “what differentiates us from our competitors?” We all have slots, table games, dining, and hotels. As a Vendor in financial services what differentiated us from our competitors? Now, as a Partner in marketing, player development, VIP, gifting/continuity…same question!!!! The answers? Leader - we are the leaders not the bullies! Our club ready shipping, and celebrity branded gifts were first to market. My competitors have gifts…but what truly differentiates us is our exceptional team - a group of hardworking, talented individuals who support each other and bring years of experience in gaming, slot data, analytics, and sourcing. Together, we focus on customer engagement, creating customized products, and staying ahead of the curve with innovative ideas. We were first to market all of our branded home, kitchen, outdoors, celebrity, health and wellness products. At Concept:3, we don't follow trends - we set them. We lead the market with our creativity, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. We don’t keep up with the Jones’es (aka our competitors) WE ARE THE JONES’ES…redefining the industry standards and delivering unparalleled customer and VIP experiences! #concept3 #innovativeplatforms #teamwork #firsttomarket #original #gifting #VIPevents

🌟 Bridging the gap between hospitality talent and global opportunities is our passion. We can transform it into a reality thanks to our schools and industry partners. Imagine this: La Chef Levi approached , Hosco's Senior Career and Industry Advisor, to coordinate a real-world labor workshop for culinary and pastry students. Francesca's response? "Of course, it'd be my pleasure!" (rolling up her sleeves) 💪 Our friends at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Firenze jumped on board, with h Irene Seccia, Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager, giving students a glimpse into the world of opportunities at their esteemed brand. 🏨 To bring it all to life, Michelin star chef ef Paolo Lavezz shared his inspiring journey, giving students a taste of what their future careers could hold. 🍽️ A huge shoutout to , La Chef Levi's Managing Director, for his trust and partnership in making this happen. 🙌 Check out the school career site, powered by Hosco, via the link in the comments. #hospitality #careers #CulinaryEducation

Like any other leader Sanders, faced numerous rejections and failures throughout his life. He didn't find success with KFC until he was in his 60s, but his perseverance and belief in his recipe never wavered. His journey was long and filled with challenges, yet his purpose was clear - to share his special recipe with the world. As a result , Today, KFC is a global phenomenon. 🔹 Purpose fuels perseverance: When you’re driven by a meaningful goal, setbacks become learning opportunities rather than roadblocks. 🔹 Quality over quantity: Achieving something worthwhile often requires patience and dedication. The quality of our efforts and the lessons we learn along the way enrich the final outcome. 🔹 Enjoy the journey: Savoring each moment, building relationships, and growing along the path makes the end result even more rewarding. So, let’s remember to focus on why we’re running. The finish line will always be there, but the journey – that’s where life truly happens. #mondaymotivation

Am I the only one annoyed with the AI generated "Conversation Starters" that are tagged onto every post these days? It's like we have a three-year-old curating our LinkedIn interactions. Here are the two winners that followed a post (below) by one of my connections: {star} What makes qualifying for the Indy 500 challenging? {star} How does one become a Michelin rated chef? Read the original post (below) to understand just how completely beside the point those questions are. I don't want to pay to train your LLM, LinkedIn, and I want a way to disable that unwanted, unasked for feature. #sosayweall #tearsintherain #freelinkedin
"Someone already did this" or "somebody already does this" This is always a fallacy. Everyone also "knows" how to cook and drive yet very few can qualify for the Indy 500 or cook like a Michelin rated chef. There's always room for someone better or different across all touch points and throughout the value chain.

this is a lesson in brand activation and fidelity to brand positioning all we need is who we are.
With Carnival in the rearview, reflecting on this project is a must, no matter how long and experienced you are in the business there is always room for growth and elevating your brand in the face of adversity. Hennessy sought to capture the essence of Caribbean life and culture while colliding with the energy and personality of Carnival. Guided by the team at Advantage Advertising Keron Nexar Theodore Celestin it took an incredible team of professionals to bring the vision to life. Nikki Hilaire-Roach of Ace Bar services and her amazing team of bartenders and staff kept the cocktails and iconic tumblers on point from the fete to the road, our team of brand ambassadors and Carnival characters were provided by EPA concepts and Tribe. Special thanks to Derek Awai and the DJMA team for the long nights and early mornings always ensuring Hennessy was the spirit of the season
