JAM TODAY
There’s a line from Alice Through the Looking Glass
“The rule is jam tomorrow and jam yesterday – but never jam today.”
When Alice meets the Red Queen, she’s offered a job. The reward is twopence a week and jam every other day. But those days are yesterday and tomorrow. Never today
The jam is always out of reach, an unfulfilled promise
Like listening to a politician at election time
Jam today can also mean about being in the moment and enjoying and being grateful for what is
A Jam Session is a gathering or performance where musicians improvise and play together also in the moment
Mediation too is about coming back to and helping people to interact with one another in the moment rather than dwelling in the past
Jam today could mean discovering what the parties have in common and what benefits they would derive from reaching a resolution today
✅ In problem solving or decision making are you able to focus on Jam Today rather than on what may be out of reach of unresolvable?

An Open Letter to Singapore Newly Elected Premier Lawrence Wong,
Distinguished newly elected Premier Lawrence Wong,
I, Lilian Wei, a Chinese Whistleblower against Keppel Corporation, had written to SGX and CPIB and the ex-Premier Lee Hsien Loony in the past years with reporting the noncompliance and misconduct of Keppel Land China, Keppel Land China had dealt in its business operation since 2019, and its unethical retaliation and mistreat acts against me, and I had cried out in June 2020 and struggled with legal battles sued for 4 years now, I am still wishfully thinking and waiting for SGX's or CPIB investigation since 2020. In my emails I also put up my queries and I had written to the ex-premier Lee Hsien Loong with dozens of letters as email screenshot requesting for his taking action to investigate.
Up to now I have not received any feedback or reply other than SGX’s symbolic and polite reply as below letter, therefore I strongly beseech your attention and action as newly elected Premier, I appreciate your inquiring the CPIB and SGX investigation process and your personal taking charge into this investigation.
I appreciate your kind reply and give me a whistleblower justice.
Best regards,
Lilian Wei

Today, Baey Yam Keng, Eric Chua, and Shawn Huang were officially sworn in as Senior Parliamentary Secretaries. It was a proud moment to witness their affirmations before President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, with their families present. I welcome them to our team and look forward to their contributions.

What should you put in an awards entry to really catch the eye of the judges?
As she comes up to her 4th year as a judge on the National Business Women's Awards, Sue Keogh talks to Debbie Gilbert on The Business Awards Show to share tips on crafting that winning entry. They talk about...
* Sue's business journey from freelance to agency and consultancy, and coping with the emotional challenges of redundancy and bereavement along the way
* To use or not to use X/Twitter, that is the question
* Why are awards so important, and why is Sue so proud to be a judge herself?
* What Sue looks for in award entries (and why sob stories don't cut it!)
* Two essential tips for a stellar award entry
* Maximising the promotional opportunity
* What advice would Sue have given herself when she first started her business?
