Transforming a PLG Strategy w/ Verb Scoring Today, I'm starting a series on LinkedIn called "Transforming a PLG Strategy w/ Verb Scoring" If you're not familiar, Verb Scoring is our method for evaluating actions that users can take in your and your competitors’ products and then scoring them based on the level of user entitlements (or the amount of friction) required to perform the action. It's an incredible way to ☑ Evaluate your acquisition, retention, and monetization strategy  ☑ Compare your strategy to that of your competitors, and  ☑ Build a smarter strategy that’s best suited to your unique product. Why am I inspired to share? I worked almost exclusively for small businesses in my early career. They were chocolate makers and coffee roasters and people with a craft and a vision. But when it came time to actually run a business, the demands were SO hard to navigate. Suddenly, the craft chocolatier is running a bistro, hiring a chef, doing payroll, and navigating vendor relationships. They soon discover that it's hard to be good at everything. I see the same struggles in the SaaS space. There are tons of passionate, creative, and visionary folks who just need a little support and structure to make it click. 💡 My hope is that a product person somewhere finds a nugget of gold in here that helps them get to the next level. ✨ 📆 Day 1 we'll start with definitions. 📆 Days 2+ Then we'll go over how to strategically use verb scoring to craft your strategy. Hat tip to Erica Goode, CPA who inspired me with her series on building her business.
