🌟 Powerful Day of Learning and Reflection at HMP Brixton🌟 Last Thursday, The Black Curriculum had the privilege of visiting HMP Brixton in partnership with Prison Radio Association where we engaged in conversation with some of the young people there, on the theme of this years Black History Month: Reclaiming the Narrative. Alongside the incredible George The Poet Limited, we had the eye-opening experience of hearing their stories while discussing the impact of education in the lives of these young people. We had the chance to explore stories often left out of mainstream narratives. It was inspiring to see how these discussions sparked a sense of empowerment and reflection among everyone involved. It's moments like these that remind us how essential it is to make Black history accessible to everyone, everywhere. #TheBlackCurriculum #TransformativeJustice #EducationForAll #EmpowermentThroughKnowledge
