There is a lot of gravity work happening these days, especially in and around the Athabasca Basin. When it comes to data quality, field efficiency, and project costs, you get what you pay for.
We started offering gravity services in the early 90’s using the LaCoste & Romberg gravity meters. They were ‘state-of-the-art’ at the time but when we started pushing their limits, we quickly found them.
We upgraded to CG5s in 2002 and soon had a fleet of 12 CG5s, and we shelved the L&Rs. The new quartz spring technology solved most of the data quality and production limitations of the old ‘zero-length’ metal springs in the L&R meters.
In 2016 we started phasing out out the CG5 for CG6s and now have the largest fleet of CG6s in Canada. Data quality and field efficiency have increased again and overall project costs have decreased because we are able to collect higher quality data much faster.
If you are planning a gravity survey, you need to stop by the Scintrex booth at the PDAC. The team there can explain why the instruments you chose to engage on your program can mean the between a program and a successful program.
This is one that I am looking forward to, I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous as well.
Speaking to a specialist audience on key areas like trade credit ratings and the impact that they can and do have on a restructuring/turnaround situation is both exciting and nerve-wracking in equal measures.
I hope that my relevant experience in these areas will be of some use to the audience and that some of the case studies we will walk through will demonstrate how understanding, improving, and monitoring trade credit rating during a structured turnaround is vital and can indeed be a real catalyst for material changes in cash and working capital.
We are looking forward to attending The Institute for Turnaround Midlands, West & Wales Conference 2024, for which we are the event partner.
Join us at the Ibis, Birmingham New Street, on 18th April, 8.30am-4pm and enjoy an insightful talk from Lightbulb’s Founder and CEO, James, taking place at 11.45am.

Discover Saskatoon is Leading the Way in Saskatchewan 🌟
I'm incredibly proud of the strides we've made in transforming our city into a beacon for national and international business events. This Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID), gives us a moment to reflect on the profound impact these gatherings have on our local and provincial economy.
Last year alone, Saskatoon hosted 31 significant business events, injecting an impressive $22,075,693 into our economy and positioning us as leaders within Saskatchewan in the meetings industry. These events aren't just numbers; they're opportunities—sparking innovation, driving investment, and attracting human capital to our province.
Our achievements are the result of unwavering commitment and collaboration with partners across the city and beyond, including the City of Saskatoon, Saskatoon Destination Marketing Hotels Inc., The Saskatoon Tribal Council, and Tourism Saskatchewan. Together, we are not just hosting events; we are creating a vibrant ecosystem that nurtures economic growth and community development.
Let's continue to champion the power of meetings and events. By doing so, we drive investment opportunities, inspire human capital, and lay the groundwork for a thriving future for Saskatchewan.
Join us in celebrating the impact of our efforts and the bright future ahead. #GMID2024#DiscoverSaskatoon#SaskatchewanPride#InnovationThroughCollaborationhttps://lnkd.in/dJms3rmp
