🚧 Road Construction Alert 🚧 What? Road construction and traffic pattern change. Where? Eastbound lanes of Miller Road between Saturn Rd. and Edgefield Dr. When? Starting March 11 Why? Contractors will close both eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes will be converted into a two-lane road (one lane going east, one lane going west). This traffic pattern is expected to last about three months. Work will then switch over to the other side. Expect that traffic pattern to last another three months. Please plan accordingly. #GarlandTX

Unlike our Retro Beam Bridge, Retro Light Bridge and Retro Heavy Bridge modular bridge systems, panel bridges require extensive on-going bolt re-tightening maintenance when open to traffic to ensure they remain fit for purpose and safe for bridge users. This week we are back on site in Buckinghamshire for a number of night-time road closures to check and re-tighten the bolts that have worked loose under traffic in this 55m span 2-lane panel bridge carrying a public road diversion. Although panel bridges are the right solution in a small number of scenarios when properly maintained, our other modular bridge systems avoid the costs and disruption associated with these bolt re-tightening works. We all know that speed and safety are mostly incompatible. So why is so much demolition and construction work carried out against the clock? #construction #demolition #demolitioncontractor #demolitionequipment #equipmentrental #equipmentoperator #planthire #infrastructure #constructionsite #constructionworker #constructionequipment #constructionindustry

According to a recent report by Madelyn Shields Bearn of CoStar Group, Atlanta's industrial construction pipeline is its lowest since 2018. "The amount of industrial space under construction in the Atlanta area has hit a six-year low. Following an onslaught of new development from 2021-23, the industrial pipeline in the Atlanta market has shrunk to 16.3 million square feet - the lowest figure since 2018. This could mean that industrial vacancy in Atlanta could decline faster than other markets as the area works through the supply wave." Earlier this year, Rockefeller Group completed Braselton 85 which includes two logistics facilities totaling 427,658 SF on 39 acres in Braselton, GA. Braselton 85 is located at Jesse Cronic Road and Highway 124 along Atlanta's I-85 Northeast industrial corridor, one of the areas of the Atlanta submarket that could see a decrease in vacancies heading into the second half of 2024 and into 2025.
