To patients, family members and advocates, patient group leaders and patient organisations!     Over the last two years we have been listening, learning and working hard to try and solve the many difficulties and barriers to helping patients talk to healthcare professionals and visa versa! One thing we have realised is that often patient involvement and engagement misses the mark when it comes to truly putting patients at the centre, we think we have found an answer....   We have created a new approach and our solution is PiCC United (Patient Involvement and Collaboration Community)    #PiCCUnited will do things differently. We are taking away the troublesome and daunting aspects of collaboration and involvement to make it easier for everyone and puts the patient first!       To all #Patients and families, we are doing things differently. Our new approach simplifies patient involvement and removes the uncomfortable and frustrating steps which have been stopping some of you from getting more involved!     #PatientOrganisations, PiCC United offers a solution for you too! 'Food is Medicine' Quantity and Quality - less can be more! Let food be thy medicine and for prevention is better than cure (not that a cure can exist in a system). The 'cure' is an example of wishful thinking which confounds the principle underlying Science - of rationality given what we now (and have known for years!) know. The entire body either collapses if we age badly or strengthens if we age well - where the Ageing reversal community have compiled a list of anti-ageing interventions. Most notably restriction of a certain profile of foods and the development of mitochondria within this metabolic context.

The grassroots work that U-VOL FOUNDATION is doing globally focuses on bridging the healthcare gap in needed communities. The work in Nigeria is directly impacting a rural clinic that is serving it's community - especially pregnant women. While the barriers and challenges may be different, pregnancy is dangerous business no matter where you are in the world. In Nigeria, an already high maternal mortality rate actually increased 14% between 2017 and 2020 (WHO).
