Our challenge: How do we create a compelling, inclusive and experiential space out of nothing,
 leveraging inexpensive and unconventional materials in order to 
tell a story of the power of connected, global philanthropy. Solution: We build out a multi-day conference, with a keynote and breakout sessions, in a pier venue with no infrastructure. With a limited budget, extensive brainstorming resulted in the idea to use shipping containers - inexpensive and locally sourced, beautifully colored, and large enough to create distinct spaces within the open floorplan. One was even used to create a mini-museum space.
