The only 10 slides you need in your pitch deck. Agree?

My team and I raised $130M using only eight slides; this format for ten looks good too! It’s about the people, products, potential (your ability to tap into a large and growing market), partners/clients, and having a clear path to drive sustainable revenues and profits - and then it comes down to execution, and a little bit of timing and luck! Because we had a proven business model with existing clients, revs, and profits in place, the slides didn’t matter as much. Focus on niche categories, land those first lead customers to prove out the business model, get traction, iterate quickly based on customer feedback, serve them w excellence, ride the wave, watch spending, expand / contract w markets, and do the right thing. Aways. Rinse, lather, repeat.

These 10 slides aided me in acquiring my 1st notable investment, this coupled with my "Can Do" attitude... On the road to acquiring more investment, this pitch process still continues to be my go-to

The strongest conviction in early stage companies lies with those who articulate a deep understanding of their market, their competitors and how they intend to distribute - in very few words. Misunderstandings about market, competitors and distribution show up in pitches as anomalies in these areas: - How market size is addressed - GTM Strategy plan  - Business model formula - Who they describe as their competitors - Priority of deck slides, # of words on the page, design  - Selection of metrics to date, and future measurements of growth As a founder these are often blind spots that can 100% be clarified to better narrate your investment potential.
