🇦🇷 🚢 Golar's FLNG Hilli said to be headed for Argentina's Vaca Muerta According to Stifel analysts, YPF said it expect to use an existing FLNG unit starting in 2027 and add capacity over time with incremental floating and land based solutions, which the analysts say lines up with Golar's (GLNG) commentary about working with a final customer not in West Africa. TotalEnergies Accelerates Natural Gas Expansion in Texas ! This is an article worth sharing to remind that the oil & gas industry is still playing an important role in the Energy Transition process as a decarbonization fuel. Gas has always been identified as the middle ground which to build the next phases on. In the past, investments in LNG had poured in, creating the LNG value chain; FLNG is the next step to monetize stranded/isolated gas reserves (at least, this was the logic). Remembering that LNG requires export and import terminals, in addition to bulk loading systems, it is important, as usual, that the various stakeholders work together to optimize the process. #FLNG #LNGvaluechain #stakeholders #politicalcommittment #energytransition
