I (Paul) speak to a lot of people who attend gym classes other than ours at Team and a constant that runs throughout a lot of other classes is “getting a beasting” on every visit. Anything to induce a state of fatigue that leaves the individual feeling exhausted, quite often broken. Our training is structured. Mondays and Wednesdays strength, Tuesdays high intensity aerobic, Thursday a combination of the two and Friday you get to do what you want. We make Freestyle Fridays this way because some days the body simply wants to do what it wants and not be given a ton of squats if its legs are already tired. On Freestyle Friday you can bench press, run, dead lift, row, walk, pull a sled or even just sit down, drink coffee and chat with a bunch of cool people. Train smart for your goals, not get battered around just because an instructor lacks the knowledge and perhaps confidence to direct your programming. #gadbrookpark #fitness #longevity
