Happy Thanksgiving from YSCO - A Time for Reflection and Gratitude Dear Valued Clients and Friends, As Thanksgiving is now here, we at YSCO find ourselves reflecting on the essential qualities of great leadership and the immense gratitude we hold for our work family and clients like you. Leadership is more than guiding and directing; it's about taking time to reflect on our successes, our learnings, and areas where we can grow. This Thanksgiving, we are reminded that true leadership encompasses the humility to recognize where we can improve and the gratitude for the opportunities to learn these valuable lessons. We are incredibly thankful for our dedicated team members, who are instrumental in turning our clients' dreams into reality. Their commitment and expertise on every single project make YSCO what it is today. We are also deeply grateful for you – our clients and partners – who trust us and collaborate with us. Your support and belief in our work continually inspire us to strive for excellence. In recognition of the hard work and dedication of our team, YSCO will be closed from Thanksgiving Day, reopening on the 29th of November. This break is our way of giving our work family the time they deserve to recharge and relax with their loved ones. During this festive season, we hope you also find the time to unwind and enjoy what truly matters - moments with family and friends, reflecting on your own journeys, and embracing the warmth and joy of the season. Wishing you a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving, filled with joy, gratitude, and cherished moments. #leadershipdevelopment #hardwork #YSCO #leadershiplessons

Owner of Savannah Bananas, Creator of Banana Ball, Author of Fans First & Find Your Yellow Tux, Keynote Speaker
This is hospitality at it's best. This past weekend my family and I traveled to Oklahoma City with the Savannah Bananas and Party Animals on our Banana Ball World Tour. We stayed at the Hyatt Place Oklahoma City/Bricktown just like we did last year. Last week when we arrived, this basket was in our room. It would have been special enough that they noticed we requested a pack and play and had gotten this for us, but what makes it remarkable is that this is an ongoing story. Last year, we ran out of baby wipes for our youngest daughter Addison during our trip to OKC. We went down to the lobby and asked if they had any in their little lobby store. They didn’t but our contact Mandy said she was running to the store anyways and would grab some for us. We went back to the room and within 20 minutes she arrived with baby wipes for us. Fast forward a year later and not only does she have some great snacks and bananas and a puzzle waiting for us, but she also had some extra baby wipes. That's attention to detail at the next level to remember that detail a year later. That's truly caring about your guests. In Bananaland, we always say, nothing matters more than making people feel like they matter. And Mandy and her team at the Hyatt Place Oklahoma City/Bricktown did just that…two years in a row!

Senior Safety Consultant who provides expert advice and guidance on workplace safety and health regulations
🍀☘️ St. Patrick's Day Alert! 🍀☘️ As Sunday approaches, so does the festive occasion of St. Patrick's Day! Whether you're planning to revel in the greenery of parades, enjoy traditional Irish fare, or simply embrace the spirit of the holiday, it's crucial to remember to celebrate responsibly. While St. Patrick's Day is often associated with merriment and perhaps a pint or two, it's essential to prioritize safety, especially when it comes to drinking and driving. Every year, far too many lives are affected by the tragic consequences of driving under the influence. This St. Patrick's Day, let's make a collective commitment to keep our roads safe for everyone. Here are a few simple tips to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration: Designate a sober driver: If you're planning to drink, designate a trusted friend or family member as the designated driver before the festivities begin. This ensures that everyone gets home safely. Utilize alternative transportation: If you don't have a designated driver, consider using alternative transportation options such as taxis, rideshare services, or public transit. Many cities offer discounted or free rides on St. Patrick's Day to promote responsible drinking. Arrange for accommodations: If you're celebrating away from home, plan ahead and book accommodations nearby. Staying overnight eliminates the temptation to drive after consuming alcohol. Be a responsible host: If you're hosting a St. Patrick's Day gathering, ensure that your guests have safe transportation options available. Offer non-alcoholic beverages and encourage guests to pace themselves. Intervene if necessary: If you see someone who is about to drive under the influence, intervene and offer them a safe alternative, whether it's a ride home or a place to stay for the night. Remember, the choices we make on St. Patrick's Day can have long-lasting consequences. Let's celebrate this festive occasion responsibly and ensure that everyone gets home safely. Wishing you all a happy and safe St. Patrick's Day!

🚨Hospitality Alert🚨 A recent encounter at the new Rooftop at Riverside in Bonita Springs, FL, marked a celebration of life. Picture this: a 70-year-old birthday party graced our establishment, with the guest of honor being none other than the esteemed wife of a legendary Hall of Fame basketball player. Faced with the challenge of curating a distinctive experience for someone who seemingly possesses everything one could desire, I went on a mission to transcend expectations. I went next door to a quaint convenience store and found a small treasure: a whimsical travel cup adorned with a teddy bear and a charming message – "smile." With this inspiring find in hand, I seized the opportunity to add a touch of genuine warmth into the fabric of this celebration. A personalized note on the cup's back read, "Happy Birthday from your friends at Rooftop at Riverside." It was a small gesture with a profound impact. The unveiling of this unexpected gift was met with astonishment and joy by the birthday goup. The jubilant recipient, overwhelmed with emotion, declared it the most thoughtful gesture she had experienced in a long time. And just like that, a new regular and enthusiastic ambassador for the bar was born. In the world of hospitality, these seemingly inconspicuous moments become the backdrop of unforgettable experiences. It's the commitment to going above and beyond, crafting personalized touches that resonate, and leaving an indelible mark on each guest. This dedication is what sets you apart, making your establishment more than just a bar – it's a haven of heartfelt connections. Hospitality is truly about transcending the ordinary, embracing the unexpected, and infusing each interaction with sincerity. Keep it real, stay true to your brand, and let the spirit of sincere hospitality be the guiding force in creating memories that linger long after the celebration concludes. 👇🏾Let me know your thoughts on hospitality and what you do or have experienced that leave lasting impressions. #philospitality #whereisphilwills #bar #business #consultant #hospitality #craft #philosophy
