Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸 #DidYouKnow that displaying the American flag at your home comes with its own set of etiquette rules? Here are some tips to ensure you're honoring the flag properly: 1. Placement: The flag should be displayed on a flagpole or mounted bracket on the front of your home, positioned higher than any other flags. 2. Lighting: If the flag is flown at night, it should be properly lit. 3. Respect: Never let the flag touch the ground or floor. 4. Weather: During inclement weather, it's best to take the flag down. 5. Half-Staff: Lower the flag to half-staff on designated days of mourning or remembrance. #FlagDay #HomeEtiquette

A recent and frightening reminder of why wearing your kill cord is essential. I’d like to highlight the OLAS Guardian and N2K wireless cut-off systems from Exposure Marine as additional solutions to help prevent accidents like this. These systems can be configured so that your vessel won’t start unless your tag is connected. https://lnkd.in/eHMpx6P5

Evacuation methods must be known in case of emergency. It can save the life of the rescuer and the injured person. It is easy to rescue and reach a safe place. Extermination continues to take lives at student protests. There's no guarantee that the rescuer won't be targeted a second time, as I watch the frozen bodies on the road struggle to reach the alleys. It is inhumane to run away and leave people to die. Therefore, we must know how quickly we can rescue and get them safely. The agitators should take at least two evacuation methods. Some of the collected information is presented. Individuals can employ more effective techniques.

During the enforcement periods listed above, no person or vessel may enter, transit through, anchor in, or remain within the designated area unless authorized by the COTP Charleston or a designated representative. Waterway users are reminded to use caution while transiting Charleston Harbor, remaining mindful of dredging operations, commercial vessel traffic, and higher than normal recreational vessel traffic during this extended holiday weekend. #marinesafety #fireworks #fourthofjuly #safetyzones #charlestonsc #maritimeassociationofsc
