In most cases you wont find a candidate that checks every box on your, most times, extensive list. AND THATS OK! If you have a Rockstar candidate that checks 8/10 boxes, but they missed the clog dancing certification class, are you really gonna pass on them? Personally, I had one job that required specific skill set, so of course I went to school for it. Every other I have had, required my creative, communication and organizational skills. Everything else has been taught, or learned through trial and error. Someone can 5+ years experience in anything, but are they GOOD at it? Or is it just exposure experience?
