Our CEO Eric Peck knows Drone logistics at scale is ready for takeoff. At Swoop Aero, we are already delivering a future where drone logistics seamlessly integrate into and enhance the current logistics landscape. We're not advocating for drones to deliver every item under the sun—no, we believe the future is not about delivering coffees through the air. Instead, our focus is on augmenting existing solutions to revolutionize the cost basis and service levels across entire logistics operations. Our technology platform, including the state-of-the-art Kite aircraft and our innovative Digital Twin model, is leading the world in drone logistics. It's not just about the technology, but how we apply it to create real, scalable solutions that can coexist with and enhance traditional logistics methods. Hear it directly from our CEO, Eric Peck, as he shares our perspective on the future of drone services at scale. Watch the video below for an in-depth look into how Swoop Aero is setting the standard for drone logistics around the globe. Some #realtalk about the #drone #industry: I wrote some massive long post, but then I deleted it. Here is the TLDR: The ‘inflection point’ for UAS technology is here - and there are very little ‘moats’ built around different verticals. - #dronedelivery remains unprofitable (edit: Manna Drone Delivery is an exception with lower delivery costs) - and that’s ok, perhaps we need to look at the ‘value add’ these services have on society/communities, versus the ROI lens. I really think that drone delivery serves enormous public good, despite the challenges to profitability. I think communities have yet to embrace drone delivery at the municipal level, but instead are relying on commercial partners like QSRs. Matternet (and now DroneUp) have shown the important of medical drone delivery in different communities. - #DFR isn’t well defined and lacks a clear leader. This will change. Various folks (some hardware agnostic) are able to meet the needs of various communities with flexible offerings. - #hardware is monolithic and dictates 90% of you and your product decisions. Cheaper #NDAA solutions being developed will help increase margins for vehicle #OEMs - the sooner this happens, the better - huge bottlenecks in the #supplychain still remain. Two extremely important companies are able to fix this: Teledyne FLIR and Qualcomm. - there are little to no technical resources us ‘builders’ outside of various Git and Discord. - Auterion / Auterion Government Solutions remains a closed source project (6 years later, still) Want cheaper/better solutions?
