Ever had guests arrive early? We had an issue where guests arrived early and they had to wait oustide while the cleaners finished their jobs. We have also experienced the other way round where the cleaners were late and the guests arrived at their check-in time! The only solution here is to be very strict with guests and cleaner about being on time. Guests should never see our cleaners, they should arrive on time to a spotless apartment! Here’s why you need to be on top of your cleaners! We recently had a 3* review in one of our homes because our shower drain wasn’t checked previously for any blockages. The guest has checked why its blocked and found hairs of previous guests. That is not ok! We instantly contacted our cleaners to triple check all our drains for blockages as we do not want this to repeat itself and have bad reviews. We thought this was being checked but its also our fault as we did not ask them to check the drains, we just thought that was part of their jobs. At the end of the day, we are humans, there will be mistakes and we learn day by day. Don’t look at a negative review as being rude and ungrateful, look at it as way to make your airbnb’s better. We are in the business to provide an excellent service, sometimes things slip, you just have to rectify it ASAP!
