Our Implementation Manager, Solomon Fazel, will be participating in the Race for Life 10K run for Cancer Research on Sunday 28th July 2024. The Race for Life reminds us that "No matter how cancer affects us, life is worth Racing for." Organised by Cancer Research UK (CRUK), this series of fundraising events brings people together to walk, jog, or run, raising money for research and honouring those affected by cancer. At DKK Partners, one of our core brand values is to Embrace Change, seeking improvement, adapting to challenges, and supporting impactful initiatives. Solomon demonstrates this by participating in the Race for Life, combining personal growth with supporting cancer research. Many patients diagnosed with breast cancer have extra financial burdens placed on them during treatment and recovery. Our mission is to reduce financial stress for those undergoing breast cancer treatment in Southeast Michigan by providing prompt funding for daily living expenses. By paying bills directly, we help relieve patients of that burden, and give them the peace of mind necessary to move forward with their treatment and recovery. Today is National Cancer Survivors Day, and we're celebrating the courage, resilience and triumphs of survivors like Olivia, who inspire us with their incredible strength and positivity. Olivia was diagnosed with stage IV alveolar rhabodmyosarcoma in 2019 when she was only 9 years old. Olivia endure 2 surgeries, 66 weeks chemo and 28 rounds of proton radiation therapy, all while keeping a positive attitude, even during the hardest moments. Today, Olivia is cancer-free. Now is the perfect time to rally behind kids like Olivia, whose stories remind us why we do what we do.
