Autumn is my favorite, and yet a hard season. "Bittersweet" felt like autumn in book form, Susan Cain....

That feeling.

Autumn often feels like a time to slow down and turn inward, to contemplate the year that’s passed and prepare for the one ahead. For me, it's a season of renewal and quiet contemplation—a time when the soul feels most connected to the natural rhythms of the world.

"Autumn comes early to the foot of the Slovenian Alps. Even before September, the abundant harvests are followed by a sudden, poignant rain that lasts for days and brings down leaves in the lanes of the villages." The Historian, Elizabeth Kostova

Where I come from, autumn is the time for one of the biggest and most elaborate festival celebrations, a festival that concludes on its final day with ardent chants of "it will happen again in the coming year". As a child, it was a time for unbridled joy. As an adult who has moved away from the motherland, it is a time for nostalgia, to muse on the paths not taken, wondering what will happen next year. Autumn is golden, like hopes, memories and sunsets.

I love autumn, the colors, the smells, the crispness of the air. All of them reminding us about the cycle of life and death. For my soul this is the best time of year, a time to slow down and take in the sheer beauty of nature as she reminds us that change is inevitable and is absolutely beautiful. Nature also reminds us to look around and be filled with awe and inspiration at this amazing life we get to live.

Just like the leaves 🍃 fall down, to let the place for the new leaves of the new season (Or chapter in our lives) to glow. We are just like trees 🌳💚✨️ .Our souls always push us to glow, by letting go of people, thoughts, places, feelings,.... To begin with a fresh new start ✨️. Yup autumn 🍂 is the season of the soul 💚😌

It’s my season too. Beautiful colours & the fallen leaves remind us all to shed the beliefs that don’t serve us anymore, build new ones and turn a new leaf ! 🍁

I love autumn, but Spring is my favorite because it's a time of renewal. It's a season of preparation, where nature awakens and we start getting ready for the joys of summer. The days grow longer, flowers start to bloom, and the weather becomes milder, all of which create a sense of optimism and energy.
