Since its inception in 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month, observed every May, has grown into a national movement. This year’s theme, “Where to Start: Mental Health in a Changing World,” underscores the difficulty of taking the first step to address one’s mental health. TNG Consulting, ATIXA (Association of Title IX Administrators), and NABITA (National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment) are committed to supporting environments that prioritize mental health and access to mental health resources and support systems. We aim to reduce the mental toll associated with challenging Title IX and behavioral intervention work, enabling practitioners to focus on serving their communities effectively. We also recognize that all parties navigating institutional discrimination and behavioral processes benefit from access to mental services as both a preventative and restorative tool. Today marks the beginning of the European Mental Health Week 2024, dedicated to co-creating the future of mental health. This year's theme "Better Together: Co-creating the Future of Mental Health", emphasizes the power of collaboration among diverse individuals to foster improved mental well-being for everyone! Mental health is one of the most urgent issues in global healthcare. Chronic underfunding and the enduring stigma surrounding mental health pose significant obstacles to providing preventive care, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. In 2022, we delved into this crucial topic with Dr. Julian Eaton, Mental Health Director at CBM Global Disability Inclusion and Assistant Professor at the Centre for Global Mental Health. However, the journey toward greater awareness and action for mental health is far from over. 👉 https://t.ly/5kjhB
