The calculation for freight carrier liability is prehistoric to say the least. Freight Class x Weight = Carrier Liability Most companies assume if a freight carrier losses their $20,000 pallet of goods, the freight company is responsible and should pay them the $20,000. But this simply is NOT the case, they pay based on freight class and weight of the shipment. This calculation often leave companies confused by the liability of the carrier and exposed to large losses due to gaps in coverage. InsureShield is straightforward. InsureShield covers the full invoice value amount of the shipment. No crazy calculation necessary. If you are shipping high value shipments and concerned about your exposure and gaps in coverage, feel free to reach out and learn more. #InsureShield #Gaps #Exposure #CarrierLiability #FreightClass #SpongeBob
