"Knowing and understanding the different generations is important when leading people and enabling them to bring their best self to work." September is Intergenerational Month. Roger, a manager in administrative services, emphasizes the importance of recognizing the value various generations have on the workforce. "I grew up in Bloomington, Illinois, and my father was a 35-year employee for State Farm. Because of him, I was aware of the company and culture. The work he did inspired me to pursue a career with the organization and get involved with our employee resource groups (ERG)." As co-lead for the My Generation ERG, Roger uses his experiences and creativity to support programs and initiatives designed to educate employees on generational topics. "Intergenerational Month presents another opportunity to encourage associates to meet and learn about other people’s experiences and grow their network. Understanding different generations is crucial to maintaining our culture and achieving our desired business outcomes." Explore a career https://lnkd.in/gEkv3Ru9

Unacceptable Practices - A Warning About State Farm Fire and Casualty Company I am writing this review to share my incredibly frustrating experience with State Farm Fire and Casualty Company, which has violated insurance laws and my trust in a significant way. Unfortunately, my encounter with them has been marred by serious misconduct surrounding the handling of my claim. State Farm unlawfully disclosed my personal claim determination and private information to an unauthorized third party—without my written consent. This blatant disregard for Ohio laws governing insurance procedures is appalling. According to Ohio law, it is explicitly stated that no information concerning policies or details can be disclosed to anyone without prior permission from the insured party. State Farm’s callous actions are not just unprofessional; they constitute a clear violation of legal standards. The situation escalated further as I faced bad faith practices, defamation of character, and a breach of contract. To make matters worse, their representatives resorted to racial discrimination and even had the audacity to threaten me with criminal charges for "harassment" simply because I sought a resolution regarding these serious issues.

*LEGAL NOTIFICATION** 09/07/2024 Ohio Department of Insurance, Please be advised that we intend to present the supporting materials in court, as we have not been afforded due process necessary to address the serious violations committed by State Farm. Notably, despite our corporation being the plaintiff, our case was inexplicably dismissed under the direction of our former attorney, who instructed us to refile the case entirely. This action was not requested by us and occurred without proper notice, causing undue concern as we were informed that failure to comply would jeopardize our “bad faith” claim and potentially expose me to criminal charges for alleged insurance fraud. State Farm has persistently treated our corporate claim as a personal matter, conducting two unwarranted under-oath investigations that focused solely on my personal background, rather than acknowledging HCV Distribution Corporation as the insured party. This investigation lacked impartiality, as we have provided evidence demonstrating that State Farm failed to conduct a thorough inquiry, particularly neglecting to document statements or interviews from other officers, owners, or stakeholders of the corporation.
