Back when I started my own business 🤣 From my mobile phone almost 10 years ago on a building site I thought f this man I can't do it no more 🤣 I took this photo and said ....You'll look back on this you need to go for something. It was pissing down of rain and I thought fuck this.... those that can do this for a living you're better than me ...I'd had enough....I couldn't do it anymore. I was miserable. I packed it in and went all in on the idea of making money through my phone somehow.... Everyone thought I was fuckin daft(crazy) and it'd never work 🤣🤣 I got to work anyway and went for it. Soooooo many people talked negatively about Me, friends, family, people that I thought supported me. They don't all know but It did eventually work its way back. I don't blame them for taking the mick, I was a bloke who'd never been anything academically , my 2 jobs One was fighting part time and getting paid to be in cage The other was on a building site carrying slabs and mixing cement 🤣🤣 Who the hell would want to go into business with me ? 🤣 But over the years...I just kept trying... I did videos and people would laugh...I posted and people would take the mick My friends deleted me because I pissed them all off 🤣🤣 I sold products, make up, travel, I went into coaching, public speaking, I picked up awards internationally. I did alot of stuff to change my life, we brought a family home after being REFUSED for rent a few years previous without a guarantor lol... Its not perfect but it's ours.... We did it I created courses that sold worldwide... We now own something we are so in love with and Is our ONLY focus. Our insurance firm We both LOVE what we do. DIRECTORS of an insurnace firm that in its first 12 months surpassed 6 figures in value and has helped people all over the UK. Fca approved and regulated 🤯🤯🤯 We have staff, rented office space and teams of people who work with us. Mind blowing really. But the whole point of this post... It's to just dream big ...Fuck those who take the piss and put you down.... Just have a vision and stick to it...Work hard. Back on this building site one day I saw mine And I run with It And it's not all been one easy sail either .... It's been the hardest run of my life I've made so many mistakes I've been BROKE I've felt rich I've been ready to quit I've had to do stuff that embarrasses me..Like borrow money and ask for help I've had to sell my belongings to invest into my business Paid my business bills BEFORE rent and food on the table. Wracked up debt to make more investments even when at the time I Wass making no money ... Honestly I've done it all... But it paid off......We have a big future we're so proud of. Eventually after years of slogging, it worked but life was not an easy one ...But it got better. I just saw this photo pop up from 10 years ago and think ...Do you know what You've done alright kid 👍 Because quitting would of been so easy.

I see a lot of agents switching companies lately. What does it say about the industry? I understand everyone has their reasons for wanting to switch, some feel obligated to follow their leader others may feel they didn’t get what was promised to them others may have lost touch with their upline being in another state. I don’t usually drop names and full disclosure it’s not a revenge thing, simply my truth. When I first entered the world of life insurance it was over 10 years ago with primerica. I don’t recall how I got in touch with them. My daughter was not even in school yet. I remember that I paid for my license, and study material. I sat in on 2 sales and attended some meetings . There was no mentorship, no onboarding , no sign on bonus or reimbursement. I never got a single commission. I was given no reason to stay. It would be about 10 years before I would give life insurance another chance. With my new company Transamerica it has been different I have learned that nothing in life is free you need to work for it and pay your dues, meaning that when you pay for your license and training materials yourself you are more likely to put in the effort to pass and succeed because you invested your own money. I have learned what it means to be independent while still being able to attend training and do my own appointments. I have no upline which is great because it means I can learn from others in the office. I am currently growing my team but there is no pressure or time limit to do so. I’m positive that the clients will come in God’s timing. To some people commission doesn’t sound glamorous and 50% of something may not sound like a lot but at least I don’t split my commission with anyone. #mywhy #girlmom #entrepreneurship #licensedprofessional
