Cat's outta the bag! I am humbled to join the incredible EXTE team as CEO of North America. I figure this is as good a time as any to share some personal thoughts, so please excuse the long form post... Since I started in this industry over 15 years ago, I was always drawn to companies that were consistently innovating and pushing the boundaries of what might be possible with unique products and custom client strategies. I sincerely believe that our role in ad tech is to build solutions that add value and deliver the outcomes that matter to our clients. To achieve this requires innovative thinking, sophisticated technology, a willingness to be flexible and the resources to move quickly. But above all, to LISTEN, so that we can build tools that are bespoke and tailored to our customers' needs. Since Day 1, EXTE has built its business with this ethos in mind. We simply approach building technology differently. At EXTE we have one singular mission: to fundamentally transform the digital advertising ecosystem as we know it, for the better. It is a landscape that can, at times, feel overly fragmented, oversaturated and overcomplicated. This is why the EXTE approach resonated so strongly with me, and I'd imagine resonates with many of you reading this as well. It's not easy. It requires patience and an open mind. But in so doing, we can achieve what we as an industry set out to do in the first place: to build products that are additive and enable our customers to more effectively and consistently achieve their marketing objectives, whatever those might be. To our marketing and agency partners - both current and future - I am eager to listen, learn, collaborate and build together. We all know that the dawn of a new era in advertising is fast approaching - and we at EXTE are just getting started. A huge thank you to Fernando García Guillermo Martín Alvaro Pastor Antonio Figueroa Carlo Poss and everyone else involved in helping me see your vision and play a role in bringing it to life in North America. It's time for a fresh approach in ad tech, and I am so excited to get out there and realize its full potential, together. Now, let's go and change the world!!

In 1930, JM Keynes predicted we’d be working 15-hour weeks as living standards improved and technology stepped in. That has… not worked out so much. #ArtificialIntelligence (assuming we use it intelligently) may help realise Keynes’ vision. It may just shift work from one task to another – and maybe even an entirely new one centred around the new possibilities. Or it may just go ahead and knock our hours down to 0 and not in a fun way (albeit much less likely, this one). What it seems very likely to do is entirely reshape and refine how we work. That also means huge communications challenges, from #ChangeManagement programmes in supporting colleagues adopt and adapt, to #CrisisCommunications arising from, basically, most scenarios possible as the world learns how to best use AI at a time in which stakeholder capitalism and #SocialImpact are rising up the agenda. So, with all that said, very excited to take part in CREtech’s first set of #CREtechConversations next week at #CREtechLondon, looking at the transformative potential of AI. The sessions – with other roundtables at the discussion chaired by some of European #RealEstate and #proptech’s best respected professionals (and, um, me) – will touch on its transformative potential, the impact on job roles, ethical considerations and challenges, and adoption strategies. Because, after all, if we don’t adopt it, then it’s not going to make much of a difference. Looking forward to touching a bit on the communications challenges in the session – but very much more so in speaking to a group of passionate innovators in the #property and #tech worlds on how they see AI and its potential.
