10 things I hate about working at Canopy... 1. I joined for the culture and now my standards are too dang high 2. The benefits are out of hand 3. The average employee tenure is long, speaking volumes about how much everyone likes the company 4. My compensation was increased by the company on TWO separate occasions without any initiation or request by me 5. My team has an unmatched culture of honor—everyone's perspectives are heard and taken into account as we earnestly seek the best solution 6. No “growth at all costs” hacks (read: short-cuts) or hustle culture 7. Our product (PEARS) is leading the way in how Land-Grant universities and impact programs design, evaluate, and launch their initiatives 8. It's hard to relate to memes about hating work 9. When #hiring, I always consider whether I'd enjoy grabbing a 🍻 with the person I'm interviewing. Workdays are typically hectic 🤯 filled with tasks and meetings aimed at driving business impact. However, amidst the hustle, for me, the best moments are spent with my team of 🦄. Thats why, each team member must also be a friend 🙏 This week, we took a morning off to unwind at the beach, enjoying each other's company.
