Had a great time at MEDTEQ+ innovation summit in Montréal. Insightful panels and discussions all day long. My key takeaways: 1. Preventative medicine is cheaper in the long term than cure. Something that all healthtech stakeholders including public bodies should keep in mind early in the developmental process. 2. Public awareness around precision medicine is crucial for the success of the next generation of health technologies coming to market. 3. Technologies for the aging population (agetech) are the need of the hour. 4. Human-centric design thinking right from the conception stage will help ensure that medical technology is equitable, inclusive, and accessible. Most importantly, the MedTech scene in Montréal and Canada is bustling. What a great time to be a MedTech innovator and researcher! It was also amazing to learn about all the exciting work being done in the Quebec MedTech space by Hexoskin MY01 Boehringer Ingelheim Exo-s Best Buy Health Hepius Medical ENTobot Inc. #medtech #innovation #canada
